"Serving “World Famous Pastrami” from a corner spot in Alhambra since 1951, this retro counter-service institution is known for burgers, hot dogs, chili, pastrami dip sandwiches, chili fries, and generous portions. Operating 11 locations, it is opening its first out-of-state expansion in Spring Valley with a built-from-scratch, 4,122-square-foot restaurant that will add an outdoor patio and drive-thru while retaining original retro interior furnishings and a photogenic chef’s toque–topped sign. The new site will sit near the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Sobb Avenue, across from Scooter’s Pub and a short distance from Archi’s Thai Bistro; a firm debut date and opening hours have not yet been announced." - Bradley Martin
