"Koku, a Japanese cafe and market, will replace Cederberg Tea House on June 19. It will continue serving traditional South African rooibos lattes and red espresso drinks. The owner, Kurt Schewe, plans to introduce rice bowls, sandwiches, and salads featuring fermented Japanese ingredients. The cafe is named after the Japanese concept of kokumi, which enhances the five basic tastes. Koku will also sell Japanese specialty products and locally fermented foods." - Adam H. Callaghan
