"At this self-service beer and cider bar I learned that upon entering patrons show ID and provide a form of payment to open a tab, then receive a refillable card with a QR code loaded with a couple of pints and a pint glass, allowing samples by the ounce or pint. Pour Taproom first opened in Asheville seven years ago and expanded to Atlanta two years ago along the Eastside Beltline trail, and it now has locations across the Carolinas, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, Buffalo (New York), and Santa Cruz, California. The planned Midtown location, in the former Tap: A Gastropub space at the corner of Peachtree and 14th streets, will span three levels with 88 self-service taps, an outdoor patio, and a mezzanine top-floor full bar and lounge; the Midtown site will partner with Atlanta-based Mix’d Up Burgers, and a third location is under lease at the Interlock development on Howell Mill Road." - Beth McKibben
