"Brother-owned, first-generation wine venture is opening a low-production, boutique winery and tasting room in the Dairy Block market this December. The winemaker-operated space will introduce eight initial wines—including four from the Russian River Valley and two from Alexander Valley—available as flights, by the glass, and in bottles and growlers to take home. Two connected rooms (a comfy lounge and a barrel room with high-top tasting tables) designed by UNUM Collaborative, LVTD Design, and Symmetry will seat 52 in a modern, moody yet approachable setting, highlighted by a decorative wooden ceiling fixture that loops into a functional wine rack. The tasting menu pairs the wines with Colorado and California cheeses, offerings from Il Porcellino and Elevation Meats, small bites, and desserts such as macarons from Ruby Jean Patisserie and chocolates from The Chocolate Therapist." - Gigi Sukin
