"Taking over the Limoncello 2 space at 76 Salem St, Tre Monte’s owner and chef Antony Contarino confirmed the North End outpost will be similar to his Woburn restaurant: diners can expect classics like littleneck clams in a spicy tomato broth, arancini, a Caprese salad, veal chops, and a wide array of pasta dishes. Contarino—who opened Tyngsborough’s Tre Monte Pizzeria last November and also runs a Tre Monte Pizzeria in Lowell—said he took the opportunity partly because his family is from the North End; he has a meeting with Boston’s licensing board in early May to pursue a transfer of Limoncello 2’s liquor license and, if approved, plans to stock an extensive wine selection, with the restaurant on pace to open by the end of May." - Terrence Doyle
