Patterson Park, an Expansive New Patio Bar, Will Open in the Heights - Eater Houston
"Houston restaurateur Lonnie Schiller is putting together a plan to tuck a casual wood-framed bar inside Houston’s scenic White Oak Bayou neighborhood. The new venture, dubbed Patterson Park, is engaging the help of crowdfunding platform NextSeed to raise the remaining funds needed to open. So far, $82,000 of its $100,000 minimum goal has been locked down for the project set to open in the coming months in the Heights. Patterson Park’s expansive 5,000-square-foot outdoor patio, overlooking the scenic tree-lined bayou, will set the scene for a laid-back drinking experience that calls for draft cocktails and local brews. On the food front, Patterson Park will swap a kitchen for a rolling cast of “the city’s best food trucks,” lining up outside.
