"I visited Serpentine Cider’s production facility and tasting room, which shares the space with Rollin Roots and features taps from Lost Cause Meadery; all of Serpentine’s ciders are vegan and gluten-free. Founder Sean Harris told Eater he invited Chef Avonte to establish a brick-and-mortar because he admires Rollin’ Roots’ food and social mission, noting their proceeds and profits support community causes and that the food pairs well with his low-sugar ciders. The tasting room and Rollin Roots are currently open Wednesday through Sunday, and Serpentine plans to expand to daily hours and add lunch service as restrictions ease." - Kelly Bone
