"The Harp, a restaurant and bar owned by siblings Jarrett Gray and Joy Gray Prince, is opening in the old Harp Transmission building at 350 Memorial Drive on the edge of Grant Park, What Now Atlanta reports. It could open by Thanksgiving, but given the pair has just begun permitting with the city of Atlanta, that date seems highly unlikely. The Harp will serve shared plates of “American cuisine with a twist” by chef Gray. Think lobster rolls done up like corn dogs. In addition to lunch and dinner, the Harp will offer a weekend brunch buffet with a DIY mimosa and bloody mary bar. The drinks menu includes cocktails as well as a wall containing 40 self-service taps for one-ounce pours of beer, wine, and Champagne purchased via an RFID-enabled bracelet. Those who’ve attended music festivals are probably familiar with this form of radio frequency identification technology. But, the dizzying array of options at the Harp doesn’t end there. Two generously sized patios are in the works, with room to play corn hole and life-sized versions of Jenga and tic-tac-toe, along with several televisions for watching sports, a chefs table, and weekend activities like yoga classes and retail pop-ups. At capacity, the 3,000-square-foot (somewhat ill-defined) restaurant could seat up to 300 people." - Beth McKibben
