"An American burger chain owned by Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group has confirmed plans to open a City of London site at the new 45 Cannon Street development, taking a 15‑year lease on a 335 square metre unit — its eighth London location and the group's first in the City's business district. The operator, which entered the London market in 2013, will sit within a varied mix of food-and-beverage operators (including coffee and healthy-food concepts) and appears to have taken some inspiration from a recently opened nearby arcade. Company leadership has acknowledged the brand is no longer 'new' to Londoners and says it is focused on continuing to raise standards and 'doubling down' on quality; the group also operates other London sites, including a branch inside the city's iconic market building near the Royal Opera House, Long Acre and Seven Dials." - Andrew Leitch
