"Promising an "authentic Philly experience" for East Coast transplants looking to cool down, this Italian ice shop opened in The Twain Center at the corner of Twain Avenue and Swenson Street, replacing a long-vacant 1,080-square-foot butcher shop and joining a wave of new casual-dining tenants. The menu, inspired by the owner's Philadelphia roots and nostalgia for flavors missing from Las Vegas, features Philly street–themed flavors like Chestnut Street Cherry, Cecil B. Moore Ave Candy, Frankford Ave Fruit Punch, Snyder Ave Strawberry Lemonade and Berks Street Banana, with additional nods to Tasker Street, Passyunk Avenue, Wissahickon Avenue and Broad Street. Vegan-friendly and free of dairy, gluten and cholesterol, offerings are available from small to “X-large” and scoops can be mixed to create custom combinations. Open daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with an earlier 6 p.m. closing on Sundays." - Bradley Martin
