"In Uptown Oakland a new sports bar from the people behind the San Francisco Athletic Club has opened in the former Izzy’s Steak and Chop: The Athletic Club Oakland poured its first pitchers and screened its first game last night, and is now open Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m. to midnight, Friday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.; the bar menu is from Matty McGee and the pub grub is from Matt Rosson." - Caleb Pershan
