"Kirby Ice House will expand to a massive second location in Memorial City. The new venue will feature a sprawling, 7,000 square foot patio bar designed by Energy Architecture, serving beer, cocktails, and wine. Construction is expected to begin this summer, with an opening slated for Fall 2020. Kirby Ice House first opened in Houston in 2016 and initially allowed only drinkers aged 23 or older, a policy that has since been adjusted to 22-year-olds." - Amy McCarthy
