"SOUTH BEACH — Longstanding South Beach Cuban eatery David’s Cafe Cafecito (919 Alton Road) announced that today, August 31, will be its last day in business after 42 years. Owner Adrian Gonzalez took to Instagram to make the announcement saying “unfortunately with this global Pandemic we tried to the best of our abilities to hang on. Sadly, this chapter has been written for us and we will be closing our doors.” And while this location is closing, Gonzalez hinted that something else was in the works saying, “the story is far from over” and to follow them on social media for “to see what is happening in the future.”" - Olee Fowler
