Here Are the Hottest New Restaurants in San Francisco, January 2024

"In July 2023, Stonemill Matcha fans were devastated to learn the cafe and tea shop would close after five years on Valencia Street. But in a surprising and welcome turn of events, a new owner stepped in to reopen the cafe in mid-December. Yoshi Takaguchi, also behind nearby ramen shop Taishoken, enlisted chef Yosuke Tajiri to oversee the kitchen, which has resumed turning out pork katsu sandwiches and green tea drinks." - Lauren Saria
