LA Street Food Tacos 1986 Adds Second Location on Beverly Near Fairfax - Eater LA

"Great news for taco lovers (which is everyone in Los Angeles): The most prominent new street food team in the city, Tacos 1986, is expanding once again. This time they’re taking their talents to Beverly Boulevard, just west of La Brea near both the Fairfax district and West Hollywood. The new Tacos 1986 takes over a prominent corner that for years held a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf before coming up for lease. The highly visible address offers room for patio dining and a larger overall footprint than the team’s still-new-ish Downtown space, which is packed on weekends and stays open until 3 a.m. Co-owner Victor Delgado confirmed that he and happy-go-lucky taquero Jorge “Joy” Alvarez have inked a deal to bring Tacos 1986’s Tijuana-style tacos to Beverly Boulevard by early 2020." - Farley Elliott
