San Francisco’s Newest Farmers Market Opens in the Bayview on June 1 | Eater SF

"It's a sprawling building on San Francisco’s east side, sitting on the border of Mission Bay, Dogpatch, Hunter’s Point, and the Bayview; it opened in October 2022 with the intent to bring dynamism and accessibility to the area. The space is outfitted for community life — swinging chairs, grilling stations, and slides for kids — and Isaiah Powell, a gardening and food-justice pioneer, wants to leverage it to serve fresh produce and sourdough bread as a way to reclaim resources for east-side residents who were redlined and poisoned.
