It is the only convenience store in the area that offers fresh fruit and vegetables on a consistent basis. The Fresh Stop Market’s presence on a major thoroughfare in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans helps to increase access to healthy food choices in the area. Originally this location was our pop-up produce stand but we're now preparing to build the new market. The first floor will have a fresh produce market and coffeeshop while the 2nd floor will have a teaching kitchen and a meeting space for community programs."
