"For a few weekends this summer I watched the patio outside Union Market (1309 Fifth Street NE) transform into an all-you-can-eat, steamed-to-order Chesapeake crab feast seating 50 guests at a time; each $50 ticket covers bottomless crustaceans, corn, and Maryland fried chicken spiced with crab seasoning. Guests can wash down the messy meal with a la carte crushes and mudslides, and non-crab pickers can substitute Lucky Buns burgers or fried chicken sandwiches.
