"A long-vacant spot on Beacon Street in Brookline will finally get a new tenant this week: Bab Korean Bistro (1374 Beacon St.) arrives in Coolidge Corner on Wednesday, March 28, and will hold a grand opening at 11:30 a.m. The 40-seat restaurant secured its license in January and plans to operate Monday–Thursday 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Owner Sangwan Lee told Brookline’s Select Board that he previously worked at another Brookline restaurant and will be working with a past partner and chef at Bab. The venture maintains a low profile online with only fledgling Facebook and Instagram pages, Brookline currently doesn’t have much Korean food yet compared with nearby Allston, and Eater has reached out for more menu details and will post updates as information becomes available." - Dana Hatic
