"I'm excited that Madras Dosa Co. is opening a Harvard Square outpost at 22 Eliot Street near John F. Kennedy Street, aiming to open by late December or in January. Similar to their Seaport fast-casual spot, the campus location will offer a menu chock full of dosas — the South Indian staple of thin lentil crepes — with build-your-own fillings such as lamb, chicken, green chiles, and masala-flavored Lay’s potato chips. The team plans to cater to a late-night crowd, staying open seven days a week from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., and the shop is owned by the same Woburn-born restaurant group behind downtown Boston’s Vaanga and Norwood’s 1947, which hopes to expand Madras Dosa Co. nationally into airports and other U.S. city centers." - Erika Adams
