"A new-ish addition to the downtown dining landscape, Toki is helmed by Peter Cho and Sun Young Park, the beloved team behind Han Oak. Their Buldak-ra-Bboki, Korean fried hot chicken and spicy rice cake ramen, is a creative mashup of tteokbokki and buldak, two popular Korean dishes. A quarter thigh of Cho and Park’s signature chili oil-dusted and dipped Korean fried chicken is placed atop a sizzling bed of melted mozzarella cheese. Under the cheese sits the tteokbokki — rice cakes — and ramyun noodles in spicy gochujang sauce.
