"Owner Jose de Loera turned what was his East Austin Mexican restaurant Takoba into this counter-service bar that serves up Mexican spirits, which includes a wide selection of mezcals. Customers can order flights of spirits for a boozy educational experience while admiring the large mural dominating the back wall and munching on bar snacks like nopal cactus fries and tacos.
