"Chef Chris Shepherd, a James Beard award winner, is launching One Fifth Mediterranean, his third eatery focused on Mediterranean food. The restaurant will feature mezze plates of pickled veggies, hummus, tzatziki, baba ghanoush, and pita bread made in a wood-fired oven, plus skewered meats and chicken drumsticks cooked over hot embers. Shepherd has a reputation for unconventional dishes, having served shots of bone marrow and bolognese spiked with duck heart in the past.
