"Opening Tuesday, September 26 in the former Lucky Bird space, Taco Social (stylized “Taco/Social”) offers a global taco menu developed by Top Chef season two winner Ilan Hall and former Nueva chef Jonathan Paiz, including Greek tacos, a taco with banh mi fillings, po’ boy and tikka masala tacos. Operated by a crew of Pasadena restaurateurs behind brands like Blaze Pizza, Gus’s BBQ, Dog Haus Biergarten, Kings Row Gastropub, Magnolia House, the Original Tops and Wetzel’s Pretzels, the 5,000-square-foot brick space has indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, and a private dining room, and leans heavily on tequila drinks with fresh and frozen margaritas as well as cocktails such as hot honey whiskey lemonade and an Oaxacan old-fashioned, plus wine and draft beer." - Mona Holmes
