"OK, it’s much more of an intimate Japanese kitchen than an izakaya, but the two staples served here are squarely izakaya fare: takoyaki (octopus balls) and mushroom or pork okonomiyaki (Japanese cabbage pancake), along with a salad and dessert option. But what they do serve, they do very well; the takoyaki is perhaps some of the best you’ll have in the city. There are usually weekly specials like curries, udon bowls, and donburi, too — check Facebook for details." - Tiffany Chan
