Southern Nevada Health District closes five restaurants | Eater Vegas
"After it failed a re-inspection on Sept. 26, I saw the health department close Sammy’s Doghouse (perhaps better known as Sammy’s L.A. Pastrami & Burgers); inspectors found cockroaches, expired items including 11-day-old cooked pulled pork and chipotle chili sauce and 10-day-old in-house buttermilk ranch, water dripping on loosely covered food, mold in the water tray and ice tray, and food debris in freezers and on the floor. The restaurant remains closed and had previously been closed in 2015." - Susan Stapleton
