"Noon Mediterranean, formerly known as Verts, will convert its locations, including one in Boston, to Daphne’s Mediterranean, a California-based chain restaurant that has acquired Noon. Noon locations in Austin, Texas, will be the first to undergo conversions to Daphne’s, beginning in March, and changes are expected to take about a week to complete. Boston’s restaurant will make the switch in April and will celebrate a grand reopening as Daphne’s once the quick conversion is complete. The menu will retain elements from Noon Mediterranean, including some of the restaurant’s build-your-own entrees, which will be offered alongside Daphne’s dishes like gyro plates and falafel platters. Daphne’s has been around for 30 years and operates 21 restaurants in California." - Dana Hatic
