Oakland’s New Burger Sanctuary Is Finally (Grand) Opening | Eater SF

"Local rapper Guap, once known as Guapdad 4000, and regional food influencer BayAreaFoodz, otherwise known as Darion Frazier, opened their smash-hit burger spot on Friday, February 14. The love letter to Oakland fast food is celebrating its grand opening on Saturday, August 2 after much hype; final timing for the event is forthcoming. In a message sent out by the business, restaurant owners announced a day with free activities for kids, parents, and lots of special guests. Coloring books, a finalized menu including two new burgers and a new dessert, premiere swag including bags, and a “Keak da Sneak collab” are all on deck for the momentous occasion. The restaurant’s team are still looking for sponsors to put together the stage, a picnic area, and nonalcoholic beverages; "Alcohol sponsors can sponsor the after party, the note reads."
