Ignacio Mattos Is Ditching Lodi’s Bakery | Eater NY
"Chef Hirohisa Hayashi of the Michelin-starred restaurant Hirohisa is opening Mio Mio at 61 Vandam Street, near Hudson Street; the Japanese bakery will offer dainty fruit sandwiches, sakekasu dacquoise shaped like macarons, and ice creams in flavors such as strawberry and matcha. Pickup is available now, the space appears to be a work-in-progress, and there’s a projected opening in the fall." - Melissa McCart
