"A New York-style Jewish deli arrived across from Nationals Park on Opening Day (Monday, April 1), bringing the baseball neighborhood a nostalgic, pastrami-packed corner counter for Reubens, tuna melts, matzo ball soup, latkes, and smoked salmon sandwiches built on bagels from the Bronx. The menu also features (spiked) milkshakes, La Colombe coffee, beer, wines, spritzes, black-and-white cookies, and NY-style cheesecake. Sandwiches can be customized with its delicatessen meats (pastrami, corned beef, beef brisket, and smoked turkey), which are also sold in half- or 1-pound portions. Daily hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Knead Hospitality + Design also runs 3-year-old American diner Gatsby next door." - Tierney Plumb
