The 10 Best Bars In DC

"DC’s first (and only) nonalcoholic bar feels a bit more like a cross between a lounge, with its velvety rust and mustard-colored chairs, and a spa, thanks to the sounds of tranquil waves crashing in the background. But it’s a relaxing, low-pressure spot to come and get zero proof tequila and alcohol-free wine, all reminiscent of the real thing, with the guarantee of no hangover. The bar hosts a lot of events, so check the website beforehand to make sure it’s open when you want to swing by. " - tristiana hinton

The 10 Best DC Bars & Restaurants With Games

"Binge Bar feels more like a spa than a bar, from the cucumber water to the silent waves lapping on the television screens. But DC’s only nonalcoholic bar is the spot to play board games with your friends when you’re looking for something that’s not so rowdy. Grab Jenga or Uno, settle into a velvety chair at a small white table, and sip “tequila” mocktails. " - tristiana hinton

Binge Bar - Review - H Street - Washington DC - The Infatuation

"Stepping into this basement bar on H Street feels a bit more like you’ve walked into a day spa. There’s ambient music playing while silent waves splash around on the two TV’s, and when your cucumber water arrives, you might think you’re in the wrong place. But we promise Binge Bar isn’t a luxurious health club—it’s DC’s only booze-free bar. Snack on crispy lumpia and sweet, cheesy popcorn (which is free during Happy Hour from 4-7pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays) while you toss back a “reposado tequila” shot that will have you wondering if it’s the real thing. photo credit: Nina Palazzolo" - Tristiaña Hinton

I attended the Galentine’s Flourish Bouquet workshop hosted by Amparo Rojas at Binge Bar back in February, and it was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I loved how the event brought together a lovely mix of people in such an intentional space. Binge Bar’s non-alcoholic selection is seriously impressive — thoughtfully curated, flavorful, and creative. I especially appreciated the suggestion to try the CBD wines (total game-changer!). Meeting the owner, Gigi, was a highlight. She’s so inviting and kind, and her passion for creating a space that celebrates connection without alcohol really shines through. From the crowd to the drinks to the bites — everything felt intentional and inspiring. Highly recommend for anyone who’s sober curious or fully living an alcohol-free lifestyle. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
Highly recommend Binge Bar for those in DC looking for a place with a wide variety of NA cocktails. We tried three and enjoyed all of them. Shoutout to GiGI who also let us sample an NA wine. Note, it is a 10 minute walk from Union Station to get there.

I had such a great experience at Binge Drybar! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The staff was super friendly, and my stylist really took the time to understand the look I wanted. The space was clean, stylish, and relaxing, plus, the signature scent is amazing! My blowout turned out exactly how I hoped: smooth, bouncy, and long-lasting. It held up perfectly all day (and even the next!), and I left feeling confident and pampered. Honestly, it’s more than just a hair appointment, it’s a mini escape. Highly recommend Drybar for anyone looking to treat themselves. I’ll definitely be coming back!

After seeing a news segment about the Binge Bar, we decided to visit and try out some alcohol free cocktails and appetizers. As two people who are occasion drinkers, we weren't sure what to expect from alcohol free cocktails. For our first round, we tried the sassy potatoes, the new fashioned, and the expresso martini. The sassy potatoes were, as the other reviews point out, a menu highlight! They were spicy and extremely flavorful, especially with the garlic aioli. The new fashioned tasted not too syrupy and not too sweet. The expresso martini was flavorful; however, important to note, it is made with coffee not expresso, so it didn't have the strong flavorful kick of an expresso martini. For our second round, we had the artichoke elegante and lumpia, an old fashioned, and an amber is the color of your energy cocktail. The artichoke elegante was SO GOOD and a must try! The old fashioned, again, was not too syrupy nor sweet, and maybe better than the new fashioned. The amber is the color of your energy drink was my favorite drink of all those we tried. It was served hot and the warm spices in the drink made it taste like mulled wine. I had no expectations for the lumpia but would describe it as a crispy vegetarian spring roll with sweet and spicy sauce. We were lucky enough to meet the owner, who was very personable and gave us some good recommendations of items to buy from within the bar and gave us a free sample of an alcohol free wine/champagne. Overall, the alcohol free cocktails were pretty flavorful, the food was outstanding, and we left thinking we would be back in the future.

Love this place! Love the concept of eating vegan food with beautifully crafted non alcoholic cocktails. What did I try everything.. mushrooms, potatoes .. delicious This is my second visit. My goodness, what Gigi has done to this place can only be described by experiencing it. The food, the drinks delicious 😋 Great place to hang out alone or with friends. Great for vegans!

I stayed in D.C for 5 nights and came to binge twice (no pun intended)! If you want a low pressure night of laughs, games, great food & memorable conversations with GiGi (the owner of Binge who redefines D.C nightlife), you need to check out Binge Bar! We tried the What Would Samantha Jones Do, the New Fashioned, the Blue Pea-rry Reverie, the Cucumber Mangorita, and the Binge Won’t Do You Dirty! The drinks are distinctively delicious but the food is the most addicting thing on the menu. Do yourself a favor and get two orders of the sassy potatoes! The DMV’s hearts & art is flavorful and pairs with a refreshing salad! The mezze platter features a delicious mutabal spread that tastes like no other! The artichoke elegante are baked to perfection and thrive in harmony with caramelized onions. The space feels like one big house party with the nicest strangers you’ll ever meet at a bar. The underground space creates a sense of grounding and familiarity. Bright colored furniture, white walls, and dim lights create a warm Art-Deco aesthetic! The space is filled with greenery and mixed media canvases that give it a personalized touch! The playlist is top tier, diverse, and can be found on Spotify (you’re welcome in advance)!

Google
We found Binge while looking for gay bars in the immediate area, and we were absolutely delighted and their extensive list of n/a beverages! Gigi and Amar were so kind and welcoming, creating an atmosphere where people were comfortable meeting others. I really wish that a concept like this existed in my hometown. I'd go frequently and I wouldn't feel bad about it! Kudos to Binge for creating something truly exceptional. We. Will. Be. Back! Next time, we are diving into the great plant based menu too.

If you're looking for an alcohol free bar experience Binge Bar is the place to be. In a quaint bar space reservations are recommended. The owner and staff are very attentive and courteous. There is a full bar and array of drinks available for order and purchase. My party of four enjoyed several cocktails and wine as well as a special vegan menu that was prepared by @gingerbeetdc I highly recommend the cucumber mangorita and lumpia. There are heavier fare menu items as well. There is paid street parking nearby. $$

Yelp
It's been nearly two years since my last visit to Binge Bar, and as I anticipated would be the case, today's experience made it clear get it was two years TOO long. I'm glad to be writing this review now though, because I get to share a story: Gigi, the owner, founder, and hostess extraordinaire of Binge Bar, immediately recognized me when I walked in, even though she's likely has thousands of faces pass through her since I was last here. It's always nice to be recognized, and Gigi is warm, engaging and so friendly - we caught up a bit, she made sure I was comfortably seated and then she flew off to make sure other guests were also being taken care of, and that her staff had everything they needed, and that the woman organizing the day's brunch event was copacetic - Gigi is a FORCE of so much positive vibes and energy. What really moved me though, was when she complimented my coat before getting a photo with me. It's cool for late May in DC, but I characteristically always overdo it with the heaviness of my outerwear, and I was kind of self-deprecatingly commenting about that. Then Gigi was like, I can see exactly how a coat like this would work for this kind of weather, how it looked just right to her. And honestly, even if she was just being nice (it felt sincere though, she didn't miss a beat) it was nice for once to not get a reaction like I must be completely bizarre to need a wool coat when it's less than 65 degrees outside. As hyperbolic as this might sound, Gigi's empathy and positivity just made me feel SEEN, you know? It might seem odd to see such a personal experience reflected in a review for a bar. But would I really be saying anything original if I mentioned the gorgeous decor and chill ambiance? The extensive menu of delicious non-alcoholic beverages (that Cucumber Gimlet, WOW)? The attentive and friendly, but not pushy, service from the entire staff? The immaculate bathrooms? You could learn about all those things from any other review. I shared my story because it exemplifies how great it feels just being at Binge Bar, how affirming and energizing and motivating. (The Cucumber Gimlet helped too, beyond being delicious I literally felt amazing after in a way thats beyond my capacity to describe.) Whether with friends, or by yourself, whether to socialize at an event or to sit quietly and meditate in the midst of beauty in views, in sounds, in scents and in tastes, Binge Bar brings it all. After today, I've got a new addition for my faves in DC list.

Yelp
I had heard of binge bar when it opened, and I'm embarrassed to say it took me this long to come check it out. I had a friend in town who doesn't drink, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity! They have a very extensive menu of non-alcoholic drinks, including lots of mocktails! I tried the French 75 me! And the new fashioned - the new fashion was very sweet, but good, and I really liked the French 75 me! I will say it feels a bit rough to pay $14 for a drink that doesn't have any alcohol in it, but the drinks were yummy and I really support the premise of the business, so it's fine for a nice time out. We also tried some of their food, since my friend is vegan and we had been excited to see they have a lot of vegan options. We got the veggie lumpia, the sassy potatoes, and the artichoke elegante - everything was very good! Portions were small, but the flavors were delicious and everything was cooked beautifully. The atmosphere was cool, but be forewarned that it's loud, dimly lit, and they have little disco/neon lights going, so it's very lounge vibes. I liked it, but if you're thinking of coming on a date or something where you want to have lots of conversation, just be aware that you might be fighting the music. The service was a bit all over the place: when we were seated, the server just sat us and left. We thought she was coming back with menus or something, but then the other server sat a couple near us and we heard him explain the wifi (since it's underground, reception is bad) and that the menu was on a QR code on the underside of a coaster on the table. That was the only way we found out where the menu was. I heard our original server (the one who sat us) later give another party the full spiel, so not sure what happened or if she just forgot, but in case that happens to you, the menu QR code is on the bottom of the coaster and the wifi is needed to load the menu! Both servers were friendly, but there were just some small things that could be improved (one drink got spilled quite a bit when it came out, the second round of drinks took a long time to come out, things like that). Overall, I think this place is a wonderful idea and is well on its way to being amazing, but some tweaks might be beneficial.

Yelp
As a person who does not drink, Binge Bar is a great place to enjoy a night out without the booze! There's a good selection of non-alcoholic drinks/crafted mocktails that are refreshing and vibrant flavors. Gigi and her staff were amazing, very attentive and made sure the customers were taken care of. The atmosphere is cozy, which is perfect spot to unwind and catch up with friends. If you're looking to have a relaxing night with good vibes and great drinks, come check this place out!

Yelp
Delicious food and up scale alcholess cocktails. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the D.C. area!

Yelp
If you are looking for a place that you leave feeling better than you came in then head straight to Binge! Binge Bar is a sober bar serving up delicious mocktails that will make you feel rejuvenated. It is so fun to splurge on mixed drinks without the normal ramifications of a hangover. Binge Bar also has many vegan options!! I tried all of the available vegan items and none of them disappoint. If you were to only try one thing I recommend the Sassy Potatoes. The flavors are strong while also comforting and I could easily eat 2 orders of them solo. Also, the stuffed mushrooms are a hearty entree. If you want something that is more than a snack, I highly recommend them. The Mezze platter is such a great option for sharing with friends. I love that the crackers on the platter are bottomless which is actually pretty rare! That just shows how when you visit Binge Bar you are treated like a guest and not just a customer. What will keep me coming back to Binge is the fantastic owner, Gigi. She is 7 years sober and puts so much love into Binge. How can you not support this hardworking woman with such an honorable goal? Finally special shout-out to the most high end bathroom I have ever visited in DC! The bathrooms are gender neutral and so clean! So drink up all the mocktails because when you break the seal, you will get to sit on a throne of luxury. Thank you Gigi for bringing DC its first sober bar. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Yelp
Binge Bar was very cool to check out especially since DC has such heavy drinking culture. I've been dabbling in mocktails, so I enjoyed seeing their offerings. They had a very extensive menu and the drinks were absolutely delicious. I got the passionfruit drink on the menu which I was later told was a best seller for them. It was excellent and so flavorful you almost forget you're not drinking alcohol. My husband got an espresso martini which was very flavorful and the old fashioned which mostly tasted like orange slices. The orange definitely overpowered the other flavors of a mock old fashioned. This is a gem and I hope it sticks around for a while!

Yelp
Wonderful experience at Binge Bar! I went with my mom for cocktail hour. I got the lemon drop to start and she had the aperol spritz-like drink which was the drink of the month for March. We both really enjoyed our drinks. They were very elevated, this bar is for people who are sick of mocktails that just taste like juice. We also shared a vegan jambalaya which was very good. I stayed and had a second drink which was the original mangorita. Very herbal, a creative blend of spices and tastes like a garden in the best way possible. Also, service was great and you can tell the owner is very hands-on with the business. Hope to make it back for brunch. Whether you are sober or not, Binge Bar is a must-visit.

Yelp
Binge Bar is making massive strides and is paving the way for the nonalcoholic community! I am so impressed by the cocktails and the fact that they are zero proof. The owner is unbelievably inspirational and I admire her business and the way she runs Binge Bar (you're awesome, Gigi!). The vibes are amazing and there is art all over the small, quaint bar. Plus it's cool because they do a bunch of events and socials to connect others in the NOMA neighborhood. Also you need to try the lumpia and the banana ketchup--together it's heaven in your mouth! Can't wait to try some more nonalcoholic beverages and to have fun while doing so.

Yelp
This was an awesome experience. I love the contemporary intimate setting. The seasonal MartiGras theme was nice too. I probably like the staff the most. I'm 100% behind their mission. You will be surprised at how many people don't drink, are try to stop drinking, or have a significant other that doesn't drink, but don't have a safe place to go. The times that we visited, the staff was super friendly attentive, and really took pride in what they do. As an entrepreneur myself I would like to remind people that the rent in DC is to****high, so I'm hoping this place stays open for the community and people it serves... and why not have such an interesting, out-of-the-box landmark in DC?!? Such places adds to the character of the city, making DC ONE OF THE INTERESTING places to visit. The Food- Did I mention the food was exceptional? When we went, they had a vegan menu and I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the best vegan meal I've had in DC. I really like the other vegan restaurants and they have their place, but I really felt the food here was top-tier. We talked to the chef, who is really passionate about her work, she even does seminars on vegan nutrition. The Drinks- the drinks we had were phenomenal. I really didn't miss the alcohol -taste wise-. Trying drinks that I really have never had anything like before is always a cool experience. Tips 1) try whatever they suggest 2) try the shots 3) try the Rose' 4) The do events; haler at the owner 5) The chef also does private catering; haler at her

Yelp
A great place to hang out! I love the idea of a nonalcoholic bar so we had to check it out!! We stopped by for a few drinks on a Thursday evening and there were a few other patrons. It is a small space, but it was comfortable and I appreciated the art and decor of the bar. I have to say every person we interacted with was incredibly nice and made us feel at home. We had some questions about drinks and asked for recommendations. Everyone was helpful and kind!! To drink I got the Fill the Void which was fruity, with raspberry and ginger. I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for something light and refreshing. My husband got an espresso martini and he thoroughly enjoyed that! For our second round we both decided we wanted to try their cucumber mangorita and I'm telling you this is a solid replacement for a spicy margarita. Well crafted mocktails!! I would definitely come here again and my only regret is not ordering food. The food looked amazing!!!

Yelp
As a non-drinker I was excited to try out the place! The ambiance was very nice and the menu looked good. I tried a tea-based drink that was veryyyy bland which was disappointing, and my friend tried a mocktail that he also didn't care for. We ordered wings and it came with around 6 very tiny pieces and then the turkey lumpia which was the best thing we ordered. So, at this point I decided I may come back to give it another chance however, the interaction upon checkout turned me off. The bill came out to around 60 something but when I made the reservation it stated there were 2 free drinks. When I brought it up the owner told me it was wrong and then corrected herself after reviewing the booking site. I didn't realize I had made the reservation for the wrong day, but it was still my first visit and she decided not to honor the promo on the site. I as a businesswoman would have for the simple fact it was still a reservation and the first visit. I guess that's a matter of opinion but not knowing what you advertise is odd. If I felt the food and drinks were actually worth it, I would have come back but I felt my money was wasted on bland and small portions. I would love to recommend this place, but I don't feel like the price is worth it. Hopefully they will improve on the mocktails so they can thrive in the future. Sn: there were canned and bottled drinks .. I would recommend those over the drinks they make.. I can only assume they will have more flavor. Edit: she gave me one drink off instead of both which still does not honor the promo..? But even if it was expired that is not the fault of mine as I am only taking advantage of something she offered and as a business owner .. she should know that. Again, I want the best for this business. Customer service could also use some work.

Yelp
I have never been to a dry bar and I loved this. Our bartender and host was Phiraphon. He took his time to prepare a well crafted drink better than most bartenders these days. He also enlightened us to a little history of the place and why it was started. Additionally, the bites I enjoyed there were both healthy and delicious, which is something I love to see. Binge bar is perfect for studying, gatherings, chilling, partying and just overall vibing. Oh! They are also open to renting the venue for events. We will most certainly be back!

Yelp
My friend was hosting a group of us here and she was looking for places that had great mock-tails. We were the only people in this cute place and then maybe a couple people came later on. We had a part of about 10 or 11 people. The manager was present and was super professional and attentive to us. She made she we understood the menu and explained what we had questions about. I love that it is a Filipino owned bar with plenty of vegan options. I do think it could get a little pricey so be mindful when order a lot of the bites. I ordered the wings and the vegan Mac & cheese. I did also order a drink which was called Gingerbeets Bliss-tini. I liked the wings but I didn't like not having a dipping sauce for the wings. They had do bleu cheese of course and the vegan Mac was decent. That was my first time having it so it had an acquired taste, but pretty good for my first time. I did try the fried oyster mushrooms as well and the dipping sauce for that was really good. I loved the ambiance, how artisty it was. Just such cute date night spot or grabbing a small bite with friends. I loved it and I can't believe I never heard of this place before. The manager did say they are about a year old and at first you'd miss it, but the location is really cute! Of course parking will be parking since it's on H street but otherwise I loved how everyone here made us feel so welcomed and I am happy to return here! I was so fascinated with how cute it was I forgot to take pictures of my food. Smh. I did grab a pic of the cheesecake which my friend said was great! I highly recommend!

Yelp
Binge DC was a total experience for me. I am a mixologist and was invited out to try something new. I usually do my research but it's been a pretty busy week. The day came and boom.. I'm walking down these stairs and I smell something absolutely beautiful, my date couldn't pin point the location of the aroma either I feel in love. Anyway, we are met by Gigi whom instantly shown me that she has outstanding hospitality. She recognized a previous guest and was very warm and inviting. Her energy 20/20. Wifi is available! and it's also shown on the BingeDC Instagram it's a great spot to wfm or to be in your creative! Mingle with making the $$ I had an amazing "Lemon Drop it like it's Hot" GiGi! I love your mock tails, they are truly a work of art. Very beautiful to the eye! Perfect for influencer/CC to post/Vlog for ANY niche. My personal fav a mojito that had basil and mint as a garnish! it was absolutely refreshing. The ambiance is earthy and chic but perfect for a couple or a group of friends to come in, sit down and enjoy more than a few of GiGi's Bevvys and plays a few card games. I noticed a small stage that was so cute and was told a DJ that was recently there. That's Cool! I'd like to mention again that upon walking into the establishment there was a scent that smelled absolutely amazing. It's something about aroma and vibes I just love. I shall return and try some of that veggie lumpia. I haven't had lumpia since I left San Diego! I miss home and being invited to a spot that screams home made me a very happy girl. What an experience! If you are looking for a cool evening out with revitalizing beverages please check out this spot I wish I took more photos! ~Elle

Yelp
Had an amazing experience at Binge Bar!!! Gigi, the owner, and all other wait staff were very attentive and accommodating. She graciously helped my party with drink selection and even made a drink that wasn't available at the time. The food was delicious and perfect for sharing. The drinks were unlike any other mocktail I have had before. You can tell that the folks at Binge put love and finesse in everything they do. Will absolutely be back!

Yelp
I like the concept of this bar and was excited to check it out as my boyfriend is a non drinker, and wanted to bring him to a place that could be enjoyable for him. Their listed hours are 2-10 pm on their website and online. We got there just after two a couple weekends ago, and the doors were locked. I called the number to see if they were open, and no one picked up but their voice mail also stated the hours. It was heavily raining so it was a little annoying to be standing outside. After maybe 10 minutes of standing in the rain, and even trying to contact them via social media, an employee called me back and apologized. He let us in, and he was honestly great. However, he did explain they don't typically get busy till later in the day so they don't usually anticipate people for 2 pm. That's fair, but if that's the case then open later! No point in advertising one time, but then not being prepared for customers when they actually arrive. Also, they were pretty much out of every drink I wanted to try and their bartender wouldn't be in till later to make their specialty cocktails. Maybe it was a one off day, but first impressions go along way. Lastly, almost all the food on their menu contained nuts. I have a severe nut allergy so was disappointed that most of their foods contain a major allergen. Again, I'm grateful for the great server we had but I'd think long and hard before returning here again.

Yelp
Binge bar is a go to when visiting DC. This is the first alcohol free bar I have been to. I have yet to see a non alcoholic drink menu as expansive. The customer service is top notch and extremely kind. I loved the drink of the month - the Black berry breeze- it was light and fruity without being too sweet. I also tried the Peach Apple Mule and the ginger beet bliss-tini. It's the perfect spot for a post dinner nightcap. The atmosphere is moody with dim lighting and music. We also grabbed a few cali sober and Ceria canned drinks for later. Can't wait to go back! Binge Bar has the best mocktails in DC! I love supporting woman owned businesses. Drinks: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

Yelp
Binge bar is a non-alcoholic bar. All their cocktails are 0%. Very different experience. Aesthetically pleasing for sure. All the staff were very friendly. Service was impeccable. Wings could've had more flavor but were still enjoyable. The drinks had very good flavor considering there was no alcohol. I would absolutely visit this establishment again. I would 100% recommend trying this bar out for a different atmosphere and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Yelp
Wow, is a three letter word. Yet, it still creates a profound expression of surprise and greatness. I can say that Binge is definitely ahead of its time. The mere fact that a place exists with a purpose of being healthy and pure, while giving the positive views of social drinking. However, doing so with health and responsibility incorporated in their business model. I can go on and on about the core or the business but I'll let you dig deeper. For now let's learn to understand the cultural environment of the Philippines now in DC. Along with the art love and community. The space is almost like a speakeasy, hidden in plain sight. Trust me the owner will welcome you like family and make you feel at home. You won't regret visiting binge at all.

Yelp
Found this Gem via instagram and I knew I had to visit! To provide a place like this is amazing. The owner, Gigi is the absolute sweetest and gave us the VIP treatment! The sense of community and vibes here were so welcoming, not to mention the drinks and food were divine! I love that they offer non alcoholic beverages, as someone who chooses be sober, this is a step from your regular "Bar". It's so nice to have a concept like this where health, like-minded ppl can collaborate and have a place to feel safe. As a proud Filipina, Will definitely be a regular here!

Yelp
My friend and checked this place out for the first time. I have never been a drinker (my body just can't tolerate it) but I love going out and being a part of the city night life! That's why I LOVED Binge Bar! The atmosphere is so inviting, like I'm going to my best friend's house to hang out. Gigi was so lovely and you can tell she puts a lot of thought and intention into her menu! She made us a CBD "sangria" and "Negroni" they were so delicious! We also ordered the potatoes (x2) and stuffed mushrooms, which were both terrific. My friend and I played card games and chatted all night, and it really was just one of the best nights I've had in DC. Thank you Gigi for this wonderful place, where non-drinkers like me can go and it still feels like a "night out".

Yelp
I love Binge Bar! After attending a Yelp Elite event here, I was excited to meet up with some friends to indulge on other zero proof cocktails and bar bites. I ordered the brie almondine, which was a baked Brie with fig preserves and sliced almonds. It's so delicious! Definitely a must-try. Gigi was kind enough to whip up a hot, warm batch of chicken lumpia, which was delicious! It went perfectly with the atchara and sugar-free banana sauce. For the cocktails, I really enjoyed how refreshing the cucumber mangorita was and the hit me with the reset (grapefruit flavors). Another great experience with equally enjoyable conversations. Can't wait until next time! Thank you Gigi and Phiraphon for making this place a whole great vibe.

Yelp
I came to Binge Bar for the first time roughly a week ago with my girlfriend after being recommended this place by a friend. I was greeted by a gentleman (Isaiah) who sat us down. He was very relaxed and kind and recommended the wings, sassy potatoes and anytime drinks. The food and drinks were brought to us by Nikka (I hope I am spelling your name correct). She was relaxed and kind as well. This was a nice change as my girlfriend and I are used to being rushed to order/close out, however, Isaiah and Nikka allowed us to take our time and be comfortable. The ambiance is very loungy, and the music is great, which we loved. It was loud enough to hear, but not loud to the point where you have to scream at one another. Overall, great place, food, and workers.

Yelp
Great small bar. Went with some friends. Sat at the bar. Service was kind and swift. Had wings and lumpia. The wings were good. I loved the sauce that comes on it. The best thing was the chicken lumpia. It was soooooo good. Crispy. Just how I like it. It was so good I got 2 orders. I had the best of both worlds drink. It was tart & refreshing. I will be going back to try the other drinks and the adobo.

Yelp
I was extremely excited to try out this new spot. I went for a comedy show which was good. But that's about it. My friend and I each ordered one cocktail and one order of lumpia's. So 4 items and it totaled to $84.48. The biggest rip off of my life especially since the lumpias were dry, small, cold and hard to bite into. The spot is in a basement and the layout is awkward. It feels like a cave, very claustrophobic. The service was so slow. Again, I ordered two items and the hard lumpias came out first and eventually the drink came out. The show ended and we waited for the bill for forever. Overall, probably one of the worst experiences I've had out. The server and owner are nice but not enough to pay almost $90 for a drink and some hard egg rolls.

Yelp
Great mocktails and delicious appetizers. They also sell non alcoholic beverages to go.

Yelp
Binge is a wonderful special find on H Street. I keep returning to Binge for the excellent food, variety of mocktails, charming ambiance and warm service. It is my favorite establishment in DC. Every time I go, I order the Lumpias which are outstanding. The lighting and colors provide an uplifting yet serene atmosphere. I feel very lucky to have Binge in the neighborhood. Check it out, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Bar tenders friendly. Drinks on point. Patrons equally warm. Chill vibe. Glad I made the stop to visit while passing through.

Yelp
Went for a vegan dinner event. The service was extremely slow. The waiter forgot about the drink. The portions for the entrees were so small that the group I came with landed up going for dinner outside afterwards. This is a general issue in a lot of restaurants that put out vegetarian dishes, but put out appetizer sized meals as entrees. Hint. Try out the dish that you eat. If the dish leaves you famished, your vegetarian / vegan clientele will leave hungry as well. The portions for the same entree actually landed became smaller time went by. The entree I ordered landed up literally more than a third smaller that the same dish I saw when I entered the restaurant. The icing on the cake was when I saw the bill they had charged me for the drink that was included with the entree. After I noticed it and got it reversed, it turned out that the same had happened with others in the group. This was a rip-off and I do not recommend it.

Yelp
Nice concept, and we appreciate having a spot that serves plenty of non-alcoholic options. The drinks were definitely tasty and so was the mango pico de gallo. A few things, however, could be a bit more polished. When spending $15 for a mocktail, it's a little weird to get it in a plastic cup - partly because it makes things feel cheap and partly because of the waste. Glass would be nicer. Same thing with the mango pico de gallo - it came out on bamboo plates which again gives a very casual vibe, and the waste of it is a little disappointing.

Yelp
The jambalaya with cornbread and collard greens were amazing. Phiraphon was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing. Wonderful atmosphere.

Yelp
I love that there is a space for people to enjoy each others company, play games, eat food and enjoy fun mocktails and other NA options. The space is intimate and cozy with beautiful artwork and decor, I'd guess it can fit approximately 25 people. I don't think they were anticipating the Dry January crowd because there was only one person making and serving drinks. It took a little while to get our drinks, but they were cute and tasty when we did get them. My friend ordered an old fashioned, it tastes like a fruit cocktail, and didn't have any flavors reminiscent to an old fashioned but it was really good for what it was. I had something fruity which name I couldn't remember which I absolutely loved. Overall it was a really nice night, and I'm glad this space exists for people who chose not to partake.

Yelp
The worst money I ever spent on a meal. Binge advertised as having Philipino food and the menu sounded intriguing enough- my family and my brother's family were in the area so decided to try it for dinner. There was a puddle of water in by the wall where we were seated. It did seem fun for hanging out and drinks and there were board games that the kids liked. However, the food took forever to come out And when it did, it was just... so bad. We had asked for the potatoes, which seemed like a solid choice, and the chef apparently didn't want to make them. The portions were tiny. Nothing tasted good. The lumpia were dry and smaller than my thumb. There was a mushroom dish that was pretty tasteless. The plantain chips were like eating wood chips. My husband ordered a martini that tasted like chemicals. It was all so expensive and we were all still so hungry, but canceled the platter we ordered (which seemed to not require cooking) we ordered because it had been so long and everything else was so bad. To make it even worse, we weren't told there would be an automatic gratuity because we had more than 6 people in the group (mostly kids they were not serving drinks to, obviously.) Maybe this place would be fun for mocktails and night out, though that feels dubious, but definitely eat before you go and don't go there expecting dinner.

Yelp
I can't believe how long it took me to make it here after following Gigi's posts when she was putting it all together. Great location, fabulous atmosphere, and excellent drinks and appetizers! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning!

Yelp
Binge bar recently opened and is clearly still working a few things out, but we enjoyed our time there. We got the three dishes that are vegan or can be made vegan: mango pico de gallo with plantain chips was really good, the vegetable lumpia was okay but sadly not crispy and they only had one order worth, and the seitan adobo had a good flavor but was a lot chewier than normal seitan. All of the dishes were pretty small, so ended up on the pricey side, so we ended up getting some more food afterwards at Sticky Fingers. The adobo also took a really long time like 40 minutes to come out, but to apologize they gave us a round of a really delicious beverage with mango and lime and ginger beer. The alcohol-free wine was pretty interesting, sort of closer to grape juice but not as sweet. We enjoyed both of the other cocktails we tried (one was the cocktail of the month and had citrus and thyme and dried pineapple in it which I really liked). It's a nice chill vibe and pretty space, although the music was on the loud side and when we first came in they had a really strong scented candle but they kindly put it out when we asked, since one of us is sensitive to strong smells.

Yelp
GIRLS NIGHT SUCCESS! 10/10 Great energy at this spot. Cute & cozy. I loved the hemp wine.

Yelp
It took me too long to visit and also too long to write a review, but I went to Binge a few months ago. My SO and I do drink alcohol but have cut back for overall health, so it is wonderful to have a place that focuses on delicious non-alcoholic drinks. We had a few small snacks too, which we enjoyed. It was a little more brightly lit than I would have preferred for a bar experience, but I'm not docking a star for something small like that. Binge serves a really important role in DC. I definitely plan to go back.

Yelp
Gigi runs a great place, she's got a great selection of drinks and amazing vibe for bar atmosphere and as a bartender. Definitely worth stopping in and staying awhile

Yelp
Showed up around 3pm on a Sunday. Google maps, Yelp, the door, all say they're open. Instagram has no closure announcements. We took a Lyft across the city to find it closed. I called and it went to voicemail. Probably great, I guess call first to see if they felt like opening that day.

Yelp
This is a comfy chill place to enjoy creative nonalcoholic drinks and Filipino food. The staff is friendly, and it's a nice haven for those who don't drink or want to drink less. They have wifi and even board games, and are relaxed about patrons hanging out for a while. Check it out!
