"Blind Ox, a soon-to-open taproom and bar, will start serving spiked liquid nitrogen ice cream on Fremont later this year. The new bar, with its 20 taps of craft beer, ciders, wines, and cocktails, will also serve the same ice cream blended with booze, as well as the standard menu of nonalcoholic, made-to-order ice cream. On the savory side of things, the bar will host local food pop-ups and guest chefs, in addition to a small in-house food menu. Kids are welcome during the day, until the restaurant transitions into a 21-plus bar at night. Genevieve West will book live bands for the space, including jazz, blues, and swing musicians." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
