"Castro-area restaurant Kitchen Story is opening a second location in Rockridge, SFist reports. The restaurant, which is known for its 'Millionaire’s Bacon' (that is, bacon covered in sugar and spices) is owned by Hoyul Steven Choi, who is also behind Sweet Maple, Blackwood, and Berkeley Social Club. SFist notes that the menu at the new Kitchen Story will have more of a Korean influence, including 'a dish inspired by the hit art-house film Parasite, called Jjapaguri, which combines Millionaire’s Bacon with two classic Korean instant noodles.' Expect the 5422 College Avenue spot to open in the next few weeks." - Eve Batey
