Man Kills Chef at Sheepshead Bay’s Seaport Buffet With Hammer, NYPD Says | Eater NY

"Located on a waterfront spot at 2027 Emmons Ave, the Sheepshead Bay all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet was the scene of a brutal attack around 5 p.m., when a 34-year-old man walked in and struck three employees on the head with a hammer — the owner, a restaurant manager, and chef Fufai Pun. Pun was taken to NYU Langone Hospital and pronounced dead; the owner and manager remain in critical condition. Diners reportedly fled the restaurant and hid in nearby Randazzo's Clam Bar.
