Where to Celebrate Lunar New Year in NYC

"New York finally got its first location of the famous Taiwanese chain, and the Midtown location is celebrating its first Lunar New Year with special dishes. They include Shanghai rice cakes and shrimp fried rice. The restaurant will also hand out special red envelopes featuring artwork by artist James Jean (whose work is displayed at the entrance) that contains a recipe for a seaweed and bean curd salad. Five random guests will get special golden tickets giving them access to the restaurant’s VIP reservation service." - Nadia Chaudhury
