"Fates Bread and Bottle Co. is a new wine shop and bar in the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood that will serve local and globally sourced wines and inventive cocktails alongside crackly focaccia and loaded grilled cheese sandwiches. Founded by Chanelle Sinclair, the venue was born by chance in 2020 when she started baking Dutch oven boules with her ex-partner in Phoenix, Arizona. Sinclair decided to open the space after falling in love with Maeve, the previous bar occupying the location, and seeing an opportunity to create a welcoming environment for the community. The venue will also offer sake, beer, and a full cocktail menu, with a focus on creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
