@eater

"Acamaya is a buzz-worthy modern Mexican mariscos restaurant in Bywater from chef Ana Castro, a James Beard award nominee, and her sister/partner Lydia Castro. The sprightly pescatarian menu includes all kinds of cured local seafood including a stellar hamachi tostada with pineapple, a nod to tacos al pastor. There are chochoyotes, small masa dumplings swimming with crab and mushrooms in a corn beurre blanc; and arroz negro made with huitlacoche, mussels, squid, and lemon zest. The menu is refined and adventurous, and almost all gluten-free." - Beth D'Addono, Eater Staff
