"A casual, counter-service Mediterranean eatery expanding from its original downtown location (opened in 2014 at 49 Franklin St.) into West Roxbury, taking over the former Burger Fi space at 77 Spring St., where prominent signage is already up. The menu centers on house-made pitas made daily and intentionally avoids fried items; pitas are stuffed with chopped vegetables, tahini, spicy tomatoes and a choice of fillings — chicken, meatballs, black bean and beet patties, or mushrooms and lentils — and those same proteins are offered alongside rice with caramelized onions and veggies or tossed with greens and a lemon-oil dressing. The restaurant also serves platters, salads and sides like hummus and chips. The downtown location currently operates weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; hours for the West Roxbury spot haven’t been announced, though an opening is expected around September." - Dana Hatic
