"Mother’s Ruin adds a new outpost to its roster — with a potential grand opening date of December 12 in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood. The name Mother’s Ruin, brain child of TJ Lynch and Richard Knapp (who have added as partners James Metze and Nick Pfannerstill) is a nod to the mid-eighteenth century nickname for gin. Pfannerstill takes charge of the kitchen in Nashville, serving up an approachable menu of upgraded bar fare designed for everyday eaters. The Mother’s Ruin team has restored the historic building that previously housed The Mad Platter.
