"Chef Greg Baxtrom has converted his French-Japanese spot Maison Yaki into an ongoing popup spot highlighting Black food entrepreneurs in the city. Each person takes over the space for two weeks, serving varied menus for takeout. The popup will likely run through the end of the year, and has already featured Lani Halliday of gluten-free bakery Brutus’ Bakeshop and Jared Howard of Honey Bunny’s Chicken. Keep an eye on Maison Yaki’s Instagram account for the most up-to-date information on the popup." - Eater Staff
