"This citywide hunger-relief organization works to end food insecurity across all five boroughs by providing meals in the neediest communities and raising awareness among New Yorkers. Each spring it runs a weeklong restaurant campaign called Eat for Good — in this year’s iteration from March 18 to March 24 — during which participating restaurants donate five percent of sales to support its mission; the program invites restaurant owners to sign up and encourages diners to participate.
