The heightened desire for comfort food has opened the door for more and more people to bring soul food recipes into their own kitchens. After having COVID-19 for nine weeks, and still suffering some post-symptoms, I opened Lake & Oak Neighborhood BBQ with my business partner, chef Josh Lee.
