The Workers at Fried Egg I’m In Love Are Organizing a Union | Eater Portland
"A Portland breakfast cafe that began as a 2012 sandwich cart, it became famous for egg sandwiches with musician-themed names like Yolko Ono and Egg Zepplin and inspired hours-long waits for pesto-topped sandwiches and house-made sausage patties. The owner, Jace Krause, opened a restaurant in 2019 and a second location on North Mississippi in early 2024. Employees describe it as a great workplace with strong communication between staff, the owner, and HR, and they say the business has historically offered profit shares, Christmas bonuses, and regular raises.
