"Multiple people with crowbars and full face masks allegedly broke into Indian street food spot Desi Galli between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Monday morning, according to owner PriaVanda Chouhan. She estimates that the damage, including a smashed door, broken cash register, and stolen funds, will cost between $2,000 to $3,000 to repair. “I’m a person of color, and I support every race and ethnicity,” Chouhan says. “This doesn’t help George and Black Lives Matter.
