"I read that flames broke out at the Dupont Circle two-story hangout and firefighters extinguished the fire in about 30 minutes; there were no injuries and the blaze didn’t spread to nearby buildings. The fire appeared to start at the top of the building where the owner has an apartment (the owner was not there), and the bar — which went through a two-month renovation in 2020 — is temporarily closed while hosting pop-ups at Nero to raise funds." - Stephanie Carter
