"Opened March 24, 2022 at 103 Porter Street in East Boston, this speakeasy‑inspired cocktail bar and raw bar pairs theatrical presentation with serious craft: beverage director Josue Castillo regularly lights garnishes and tops drinks with smoke-filled bubbles, and some cocktails even arrive in a locked treasure chest, yet the team balances whimsy with housemade syrups, bitters, clear ice and a focus on smaller-label spirits. A concise food menu developed with executive chef Stephen Ennamorati centers on seafood—tartare, crudo, ceviche, oysters, caviar—alongside a few nonseafood options like charcuterie and steak tartare; dishes and drinks are designed to play off one another (for example, an Old Fashioned–style “Take Your Time” uses a toasted sesame-seed maple syrup to echo ahi tuna tacos on toasted sesame wonton shells). The interior favors lush, date-night glamour rather than Prohibition gloom, with blue banquettes, marble surfaces, gold accents and intricate lighting, and entry is intentionally secretive through the neighboring restaurant at 107 Porter Street; the bar operates roughly Thursday–Sunday, 5 p.m. to 1 a.m." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
