"In Midtown East, the sports bar Overlook features an eclectic comic-strip art wall that dates to the 1970s and includes a Spider-Man by Gil Kane, a Beetle Bailey by Mort Walker, a Dondi by Irwin Hasen, a Steve Canyon by Milton Caniff, a Hagar the Horrible by Dik Browne, and a Dagwood Bumstead by Paul Fung Jr.; created for the previous bar Costello's, the wall endured after that place closed in 1992, and owner Mark Evangelista calls it "a piece of New York history." - Serena Dai
