"Reopened on Oct. 9 as a seven-nights-a-week karaoke bar, this newly renovated 353 King Street spot, run by Chris “Boston” DiMattia, emphasizes nightly singing, dancing, and tropical-style drinks. Though the owner resists the tiki-bar label, the operation will feature four frozen-drink machines and aims to have a signature punch on tap; the interior restoration brings back yellow walls and padded bar stools reminiscent of the building’s earlier tavern era.
