I Cavallini, the Brooklyn Restaurant From Four Horsemen, Is Exciting | Eater NY

"A groundbreaking Williamsburg bar that opened in 2015, known for a focus on natural wine and creating a comfortable, scene-y space. It has a reputation for being nearly impossible to get into at times; the team behind it helped launch the new Italian restaurant next door, and the bar’s aesthetic and approach (sticking primarily to wine and beer rather than full cocktails) are referenced throughout the visit. The venue is closely tied to the people behind the new restaurant—its executive chef Nick Curtola moved into the new project—and the space and team remain culturally connected (a framed photo of co-founder Justin Chearno appears in the new restaurant; members of the extended circle, including James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, were seen hanging out by the bar)." - Nadia Chaudhury
