"A modern, sushi-focused Japanese restaurant opening in Balcones Village, this spot (whose name references the Japanese god of fishermen and luck) emphasizes high-quality sashimi and sushi alongside beef options such as wagyu and other prime-grade cuts. The three-person team behind it, including executive chef Jay Chung and Joo Chung, operate a small Japanese restaurant chain in California and this will be their first Texas location. The venue features a sushi bar, bar area, lounge, dining room, and private banquet rooms, and its full bar — with an emphasis on whiskey — will serve classic cocktails as well as drinks mixed with Japanese liqueurs; beer and sake are also offered. It is slated to open on Thursday, August 1, and will operate roughly 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 4:30–10 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 11 a.m.–10:30 p.m. Friday–Saturday, and 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. Sunday." - Nadia Chaudhury
